The PT-VMZ60U features DIGITAL LINK via Ethernet, composite video, VGA, and two HDMI inputs to connect to nearly any device. One VGA port can act either as a second input or an output to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays. The projector is controllable via the included wireless remote control, DIGITAL LINK, or RS-232 with various control software options. The PT-VMZ60U outputs up to 6000 lumens of brightness from a 15.9 lb body, bringing dynamic images where you need them. The SOLID SHINE laser phosphor drive and LCD optical engine are designed to project bright, detailed images, even with ambient light.
The laser output modulation can achieve up to a 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio while minimizing power consumption. High contrast performance adds depth and realism to video, showing more defined details in shadows, even when bright and dark scenes frequently interchange.Daylight View Lite is designed to enhance sharpness by optimizing detail reproduction in dark areas of the image, which can be difficult to see in bright light. A sensor measures ambient light, allowing halftone color and brightness to be optimized to better suit the surrounding environment. The SOLID SHINE laser light source is designed to deliver up to 20,000 hours of consistent brightness and color accuracy.
